We’re Amy and Brad, co-founders of GoodWander Lifestyle, co-owners of Una Buena Caminata, and passionate advocates for meaningful travel. What began as a visit to Pedasí quickly became something much more—a deep appreciation for the people, traditions, landscapes, and slower pace of life that define the Azuero Peninsula.
As travelers ourselves, we realized that the most memorable experiences weren't found in guidebooks. They came from meeting local artisans, learning new skills, sharing meals, exploring nature with knowledgeable guides, and discovering the stories that make a place unique.
We created this platform to help others experience Pedasí the same way. By connecting travelers with local artisans, guides, instructors, and experience providers, we hope to support the local community while inspiring visitors to engage more deeply with this extraordinary region.

Our Story
We came to Pedasí as travelers and left as something more.
Before we ever set foot in the Azuero Peninsula, we were already connected to it through a fellow Michigander, Tedd Tennis with Panama Sovereign Realty. That early connection opened a door—not just to a place, but to a different rhythm of life. It gave us a first glimpse of Pedasí through the lens of someone who understood both where we came from and what this corner of Panama offers to those willing to look a little deeper.
When we finally arrived, what we found went far beyond expectations. The Azuero Peninsula revealed itself slowly—through its people, its artisans, its quiet landscapes, and the everyday moments that don’t appear in guidebooks. It wasn’t just a destination; it was a way of life built on skill, tradition, and genuine human connection.
But we also noticed something missing: there was no simple way for travelers to discover these experiences, or for local guides, artisans, and hosts to share their work with the world. It was all here—but access lived in conversations, connections, and the quiet reality that you often had to “know a guy” to find it.
GoodWander Lifestyle began as our broader philosophy of intentional travel—living and exploring with more presence and purpose. Sight-Doing became its expression here in Pedasí: a way to connect travelers directly with the people who bring this region to life.
This platform is our response to what we experienced. A place where travelers can move beyond sightseeing and into participation, and where the voices of local creators and experience providers can be seen, shared, and valued.
